How to become a member at Ngataringa Tennis Club

New members are always welcome. If you would like to join the Ngataringa Tennis Club (NTC) the overview below will provide you how we organize our memberships. See which one is right for you.

There is a simple 3 step process to join and play at Ngataringa Tennis Club:
Review your options –> Fill out and send us the form –> Pay –> then come along and enjoy your tennis!

STEP 1: Review the membership options & see which category suits you

The membership year is 1 September until 31 August.


There are 4 different type of members:
Senior, Veteran, Student and Junior

Senior: 18+
Veteran: Over 65 at 31st December 2017
Student: 25 years and under as at 1st September 2018*
Junior
: Age 8 – under 18 at 30th April 2018

Please note:
* Must be a full time student or an apprentice.
Children under 8 are coached separately as a ‘Mini’. All Minis are welcome to enroll in the Mini coaching program through our contracted professional coaching team Tennis Plus, led by Gilles de Gouy.


Best way to start playing is to join us on one of the regular club days/nights

Men’s Monday Nights: 7pm to 10pm – rostered BBQ fo follow
Mid-Week Wednesday Morning Tennis: 9am to 11am – followed by morning tea
Wednesday Evenings: 7.30pm to 10pm – followed by socialising upstairs, BYO

Interclub:
Are you keen to get involved in competitive Interclub? We enter a number of teams. Our Interclub Captain or the Mid-Week Ladies Convener will be in touch with you to explain your options.
Get competition ready by joining in on one of our several coaching sessions, from beginners through to top level, and everything in between. The Coaching Team will have the right group or private session for you to maximize your game.

Junior:
The Junior fee of $305 includes professional coaching via Tennis Plus, at the price of $199.50 for 2 terms (Term 4 & Term 1) and the Tennis Northern affiliation fee of $55.
These sessions are once a week starting terms 4. Groups are limited to no more than 6 juniors per group of a similar playing level.
This membership allows the use of courts (between the hours of 8am to 6pm) when they are available and or when a senior member is onsite.
Please note: Juniors are not eligible to hold a key.
All Juniors are encouraged to play Interclub for NTC and also have the option to play Junior club events, including tournaments and annual Club Championships.
Private coaching is available at membership rates.


Pricing structure

The annual fee per member type applies:

Seniors: $355
Veterans: $280
Students: $280
Juniors:
$305

Your membership fee includes $55 NTC affiliation fee to the regional tennis organization, Tennis Northern.


For Interclub players:
An additional interclub fee will apply and will be invoiced separately once teams are finalised.

Senior, one team                $80
Each additional team        $40
Junior, age 10-15                $30
Junior, 15+ & Prems* ……$35
Midweek lady’s fee is a separate fee, based on # times played and paid at the end of season.
* = all premier leagues


How to get access to the courts
Keys are available to seniors, veterans and students upon joining and paying a $20 refundable on return key deposit.
This will give you access to the courts, clubhouse, toilets and lights.


Tennis & Sports Clothing
Ngataringa Tennis Club has arranged a partnership with Lotto to bring a variety of clothing & footwear to our members and supporters.

Terms & Conditions
By signing up with NTC you opt in to receive emails from the Club to stay connected and updated.
Please provide your email address – if you choose your work email please don’t forget to update if this changes.

STEP 2: Fill out the form and send it to our membership officer

Please download a copy of  Membership – NTC Application 2017-2018 - complete and send to treasurer@ntc.net.nz or put your completed membership form with cheque attached (see payment options) in the letterbox at the Clubhouse.
For Mini’s: Please click Minis & Juniors Form Term 4, 2017 for their registration, complete and send to Rixt at admin@tennisplus.co.nz.


STEP 3: Pay your annual fee

Now it’s time to transfer the fee. You can choose to pay –

By Direct Debit – to: ASB account: 12-3015-0493497-00. Please include family name & first name in banking reference fields.
By Cheque – to: Ngataringa Tennis Club. Please write all members names on back of cheque.
Receipts are available on request.
As soon as you have paid, you will receive a key which gives you access to the courts.
We’ll provide you a point of contact to connect with, if you have any questions.
